When I wrote this list, I tried to remember when I started to realize that local Indonesian brands were starting to rise in popularity. It seems that recently local Indonesian fashion brands have begun to grow impatient to compete with foreign brands in their own country. This movement, which I remember starting several years ago, has not died down, in fact it has recently grown stronger.
